The Skincare that Changed my Confidence:
For my Acne Girlies
If you follow me on Instagram or TikTok, you’ve probably heard me talk about CLEARSTEM skincare. I am absolutely obsessed with CLEARSTEM and what it has done for my skin over the past year. In May of 2022, I was driving to Orlando for work and listening to The Skinny Confidential podcast, as always, when I first heard about CLEARSTEM. The founders of CLEARSTEM were on the podcast talking about all things acne. I was very intrigued because I was considering asking my dermatologist to put me back on Accutane (I went through a 6 month round in 2019).
While listening to this podcast, I learned so much about acne that I had never learned in my dermatologist’s office. One thing I remember listening to and trying immediately was if you’re acne prone (I am) don’t take high levels of B12 or vitamin D. I was taking both supplements individually and in a multivitamin. I cut out taking both individually that day. From there, I did my research on CLEARSTEM. I took their quiz on their website, and decided to try the products. When I commit to a new routine, I really commit so I bought every recommended product and started using them every day just as recommended.
On the CLEARSTEM site, they also have an awesome resource where you can research your other products for pore-clogging ingredients. I found my conditioner was full of pore-clogging ingredients and switched that out as well. I had no idea so many things could help improve my skin and my confidence.
Below are the products I use every day. I separated them into morning and night since the nighttime routine is a little different.
Step 1: Cleanse with the GENTLECLEAN
Step 2: Apply CELLRENEW
Step 3: Apply HYDRAGLOW
(Most days I add in the BRIGHTEYES & YOU ARE SUNSHINE sunscreen to my morning line up)
Step 1: Cleanse with GENTLECLEAN
Step 2: Cleanse with VITAMINSCRUB
Step 3: Apply CLEARITY(let this sit for at LEAST 10 minutes)
Step 4: Apply CELLRENEW
Step 5: Apply HYDRAGLOW
( I also take 2 MINDBODYSKIN supplements everyday along with this routine)
I would encourage you to do your research if you’re having acne issues like I was. I am not a dermatologist or work in the skin industry; this is just what has worked for me, and maybe it will work for you too. I do have a discount with CLEARSTEM which is below, and so is the link to the podcast I referred to.
