To be honest, I hate clothes shopping – anyone who has ever gone with me can attest that clothes shopping with me is just as unpleasant for them. I’m picky, I hem and I haw, I can’t find anything I like. I hate trying things on and my patience wears thin.
And then I found Stitch Fix. If you don’t know what Stitch Fix is – I sum it up as having a personal stylist! You fill out their style survey and choose a shipping date. On that date a box arrives with five items your stylist picked for you. I don’t know about you but I love opening gifts! Even if they are from me.
The upfront fee is $20.00 which is applied to anything you purchase and if you buy all five items, you receive 25% off – which I have done for 3 out of 4 of my boxes. Shipping is always free and you can make exchanges.
The thing I love about Stitch Fix is not only that I don’t have to shop but it allows me to try pieces of clothing that I wouldn’t typically pick myself. I try on every piece because shockingly it’s the pieces that I initially think I won’t like (such as the utility jacket below) that I end up loving the most. My favorite piece that I have is my plaid shirt (I am wearing it in my picture about Birthday Gifts) that I swore I would never take off because the fabric is soooo soft!
I am not an affiliate but if you do decide to try Stich Fix which I highly recommend please use my link – Stitch Fix – because another advantage is that for every person that signs up off your referral receives a $25.00 credit!
